J. Becher & Associates is proud to have contributed to the transformation of a historic 1926 building into Little Africa Plaza for African Economic Development Solutions (AEDS) of Minnesota, in partnership with Flannery Construction. Originally built as a car showroom, this iconic structure now stands as a symbol of progress in Saint Paul’s African Cultural District. With its decorative arches and detailed brickwork, the building honors its rich past while creating space for cultural businesses to thrive.
Our work on this project included high voltage services, light fixture installations, fire alarms, and card access control, all contributing to the revitalization effort.
We’re excited to support a project that reflects the city and state’s dedication to fostering economic development in underrepresented communities.
